Apartments for Sale in Jerusalem
Jerusalem is not one property market but many. Price per square metre, buyer profile and pace of sale vary widely between neighborhoods, and often between streets within a neighborhood.
How the areas differ
- Centre and west — Rehavia, Beit HaKerem, Givat Shaul. Steady demand, established buildings.
- South — Baka, German Colony, Talpiot, Arnona. Strong Anglo presence, stone architecture, higher prices in the most sought-after streets.
- North — Pisgat Ze'ev, Ramot. Family-oriented, better value per square metre, light rail access.
- Nearby — Ma'ale Adumim, about twenty minutes out, with more space for the same budget.
What moves the price
Floor and whether there is a lift, parking, outdoor space, renovation status, building age and urban-renewal plans, and proximity to light rail. On a specific apartment these matter more than the neighborhood average.
