Romema - Overview

Romema is a Haredi neighborhood in central-northern Jerusalem, west of the Mahane Yehuda market and south of Geula. About 20,000 residents, mostly Ashkenazi Haredim - Litvaks, Gur Hasidim, Belz, Skver, and more. The neighborhood was founded in the 1930s, with many synagogues, kollels, and schools.
