Guide to Talpiot Jerusalem 2026
Talpiot is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Jerusalem, founded in 1921 by the British Mandate. Its name comes from the verse "built for Talpiot" (Song of Songs). Among its notable residents is Sh. Y. Agnon, the Israeli author who won the Nobel Prize.
