Southern Kinneret includes 11 communities that make up the Jordan Valley Regional Council. It is one of the oldest and most beautiful areas in Israel - the place where the first kibbutz (Degania Alef) was established in 1910. Here is the complete guide.

1. Kibbutz Ma'agan

Established: 1949. Residents: ~400. Character: A warm family kibbutz, "Ma'agan Eden" is the main business. Real Estate: Members' houses 1.8-2.5M ₪, vacation units for investment 1.5-2M.

2. Degania Alef

Established: 1910 (the first kibbutz in Israel!). Residents: ~550. Character: An established kibbutz with a rich history, A.D. Gordon Museum. Real Estate: Members' houses 2-2.8M ₪, unique atmosphere.

3. Degania Bet

5. Alummot

6. Beit Zera

7. Tzemach

8. Haon
